Belthangady: Senior judge of Kambala Sudhish Kumar Ariga inaugurated ‘Nethravathi-Sharavathi Jodukere Kambala here in Bollur in Kadirudyavara on Sunday October 29.
The Kambala was organised by Belthangady BJP Mandala president and Kambala committee honourary president Ranjan G Gowda after a span of five years. Committee president Demmejalu Krishna Gowda, Kadirudyavara gram panchayath member Renuka, APMC former president Bharath Kumar, judges and other members were present.
MP Nalin Kumar who was the special guest on the occasion said, “We need to preserve Kambala and I appreciate Ranjan Gowda for restarting Kambala which was stopped over the last 5-6 years here.”
BJP general secretary Cap Brijesh Chowta, zilla panchayath vice-president Kasturi Panja, BJP Yuva Morcha president Sampath Suvarna and others were present.
