Mangaluru: National Students Union of India inaugurated its Agnes college unit, at district congress office Mangaluru on September 16.
Anisha Jean lobo was nominated as president, Winona as Vice President, Zaibunissa as general secretary, Varsha as secretary and Saniya as convenor of the unit.
The students took charge from the NSUI Dakshina Kannada Committee president and State NSUI committe secretary. MLA JR Lobo, north block president in-charge Mohan Shetty, Abdul Saleem and youth Congress south block Vice President Ramanath Poojary were present for the official party meeting held at District Congress Office on Saturday.
Alwyn Pais from Kulshekar Block Congress, Krithin Kumar from Youth Congress, NSUI state general secretary Roopesh Rai, NSUI president Abdul Binnu, secretary Ashton Sequiera, general secretary Abdul Rauff, Saudad were present for the programme.
