Namma Kudla Gududeepa Pantha on October 17

Managaluru: Namma Kudla Tulu news channel will be organizing its annual ‘Gududeepa Pantha’ programme here at Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara Temple premises on October 17 from 4 pm.

Organiser and presenter Kadri Navaneeth Shetty in a press meet told media that that the competition will be held in three categories-Traditional, Modern and Special Model. The first and second prize winners in each categories will be awarded with gold medals. Third place winner in all categories will be given silver medal.

A special prize will be given to the institutions which displays highest numbers of Gududeepa in the competition. Special prize will be given to the Gududeepa which impresses the judges in the competition. All participants will be given a memento.

During the valedictory programme, Namma Kudla Tulu news channel will also felicitate Prof MB Puranik, president of Sharada Education Institution with ‘Namma Tuluver Award’. Bharathanatya Guru Ullala Mohan Kumar will be conferred with ‘Namma Kudla Prashasthi’ and Sushan Athavara will be conferred with ‘Namma Kudla Talent Award’ for securing highest mark in SSLC and PUC.

During the press meet Harish B Karkera Director of Namma Kudla, MS Kotian, Leelaksha Karkera Suresh B Karkera, Mohan B Karkera and others were present.
