Mangaluru: On account of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival, Happy Hearts in association with Forum Fiza Mall brings to you “My Friend Ganesha”, a unique Ganesha idol making competition. The event is being organized at Forum Fiza Mall, Mangaluru from 4 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, September 11.
Team up… Get creative… as the tagline says, the participants have to make an idol of Lord Ganesha in any medium of their choice. For example clay, sand, paper, cardboard, cotton, etc. A time limit of 2 hours will be given to the participants to complete their presentation.
The contest is mainly arranged for children under the age of 15 years. They can team up as a team of two or participate alone. Kids under 5 years can team up with a parent to do the presentation.
A special category of “Open to All” has been added to the event. A maximum of 5 members from any age group can join in as a team and create an idol of Lord Ganesha.
Prizes would be declared on the basis of their age, neatness, presentation and creativity. Five overall winners will win certificates, trophy and lots of gift vouchers/hampers.
