Muslim Central Committee unhappy for being left out of peace meeting

Mangaluru: The Muslim Central Committee President KS Mohammed Masood expressed displeasure against the district administration for not inviting the Muslim Central Committee for the district peace committee meeting held on July 13 at Deputy Commissioner's Office.

In a press meet, KS Masood told that since last 15 years he has been heading the Muslim Central Committee and the Committee has always been part of such meets. Only this time, the administration failed to invite the Muslim Central Committee for peace committee meeting.

He said that he had written to DC seeking the clarification for not inviting the Muslim Central Committee for peace committee meeting. " I have written to the Chief governary on this issue, "he said adding that the Committee condemns murder of Ashraf and Sharath and the culprits must be punished at the earliest.

He also congratulated Pejwara Shri for holding Ifthar at Udupi Mutt.

Kodijal Ibrahim vice president of The Muslim Central Committee, former Mayor Ashraf and others were present.
