Mangaluru: The ‘Trump Tower’, one of India’s most luxurious private apartments, will feature products supplied by Mangaluru-based firm AK Group. Known for its superior wood-allied products, AK Group will be furnishing Trump Tower with doors. The residential apartments are being built by the Lodha Group in Mumbai’s Worli area.
The 78-storey ultra-luxury apartments will be partially owned by the organisation headed by US President Donald Trump’s family. Rising nearly 800 feet above the city, Trump Tower will also feature exclusive facilities for its residents such as a private jet. The architectural firm behind the much-awaited structure is Hirsch Bedner Associates.
Established by AK Ahmed, the AK Group is at the frontier of the plywood and wood-allied products industry. Apart from plywood, the manufacturing company offers a wide array of products such as block boards, decorative veneers, laminates, and engineered woods.
