MU Varsity VC Prof Yadapadithaya inaugurates Shakthi Advanced Learning

Mangaluru: “Students and teachers need to think beyond the curriculum and success comes when students adopt positive thinking, skills and value,” informed Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor Professor P. Subramanya Yadapadittaya on Monday, November 11.

He was speaking after inaugurating ‘Shakthi Advanced Learning,’ run by Shakthi Education Trust in the premises of Shakthi College, Shakthinagar.

“The students must shape their future under the guidance of their teachers. Good personality must be developed along with physical, mental, intellectual, social and spiritual development. Success is achieved with right goal, discipline and dedication,” he said.

Dr N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte Deemed to be University, presiding over the programme said that students need to grow up to be good human beings and study should not be limited to gaining only knowledge. “Being educated alone cannot be a great accomplishment in life, but one should possess human values too ” he opined.

Coordinator of the institution Darshan Raj informed about ‘Shakthi Advanced Learning’ and said that this centre would help students to develop self-confidence and engage in research.

He also said that it would help to face various competitive exams like IAS, IPS, IRS, KAS, NSO, DMB, IGKO, NIMO, without stress. Experts from various fields such as engineering, medical, business, banking, self-employment, education, defence, agriculture etc will be invited to educate the students.

Secretary of Shakthi Education Trust Sanjit Naik spoke about the journey of Shakthi Trust.

K.C Naik, the founder of Shakthi Institutions, Baikady Janardana Achar, the administrator of Shakthi Education Trust, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Kannada Sahitya Parishat district president, Ramesh K, the chief advisor Prakyath Rai, the institute development officer and Neema Saxena, the co-ordinator of Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-school were present.
