MU students stage protest demanding arrest of alleged flasher

Mangaluru: The students of Mangaluru University on Thursday, August 30, staged a spontaneous protest demanding the arrest of an unidentified person for allegedly flashing women students in the university campus here.

According to sources, the incident took place on Wednesday evening, while four girls were out walking in the college campus. An unidentified man who came on a bike allegedly flashed them and fled from the spot. Immediately, the students filed a complaint before the university administration.

Today, the students boycotted classes and held a protest in front of the university administrative office alleging that the administration did not take the incident seriously. Students also demanded the university administration to identify the culprit through the CCTV footage.

Meanwhile, Konaje Police have registered a case.
