Mangalore:Sudhir Vasudeva, Chairman of MRPL has informed that  the MRPL   has processed the highest ever crude of 14.4 MMT during the year 2012-13 and has posted the highest ever gross turnover of Rs 68,834 crore  despite the shutdown  of the refinery from April 19 to April 27 last year due to water shortage.

Speaking to media men after  presenting the 25th annual report for 2012-13, he said  the MRPL under the ONGC group  which was under the Mini Ratna Category I in July 2007 is now a Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Enterprise since July 2013.
