Mangalore : Senior Congress leader and former union minister B Janardhana Poojary has said that the possibilities of Gujarat CM Narendra Modi becoming the prime minister are very less.

Speaking at the press meet held at District Congress Office on July 16, Tuesday, he said that the people of the nation will be at the receiving end if Modi became the PM.  Modi is a Sardar of lies and it would be a mistake to project him  as a Prime Ministerial candidate, Poojary said.

Criticizing the statement made  by Modi during a recent interview, he told that Modi was sad over the puppy coming under the car tyres and not over those who had died in the riots.

On this occasion, Poojary also pointed out that  even the  Supreme Court had rejected the Special Investigation Report which gave Modi a clean chit in Gujarat riots.

Congress members Sadashiv Ullal, Harikrishna Bantwal, Kallige Tharanath Shetty, Arun Coelho and others were present.
