Mangaluru: A Mangaluru-Dubai SpiceJet flight that was scheduled to depart from Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Tuesday midnight will depart at 5 pm today(Wednesday) after the flight pilot developed some health issues.
Following the inadvertent delay, the airline made accommodation arrangements for the 188 passengers who were supposed to travel in this flight at nearby hotels.
Confirming the news of the delay to NewsKarnataka, Airport director VV Rao said that the flight had been held up as the pilot had developed health issues. The same will depart at 5 pm today after the pilot clears the medical tests, he added.
