Dr B M Hegde, a physician, administrator, motivational speaker, and advisor-in-chief of the MAA, was felicitated by founder-director of the MAA, Jerardin D’Souza.

Commenting on being awarded the prestigious Padma Vibhushan, all Dr Hegde said was, ”Serve each other and love one another.”

His being chosen to receive this national award is certainly a great honour for the Dakshina Kannada district.
