Mangaluru: Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru South MLA has reportedly approached Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy with in connection with the building of an underpass at the Mahakalipadpu railway level crossing here in the southern part of the city. He has reportedly asked the CM to sanction Rs 20 crore for this purpose.
A memorandum released by the MLA stated that the general arrangement drawing of the project proposal has been approved by the Railways and Rs 20 crore is to be the share of the state government. The project will be taken further if the CM sanctions the money, the MLA added.
