Belthandagy: MLA Harish Poonja said that the Belthangady government hospital has started a new Covid Vaccination centre to avoid people get in touch with Covid patients in the hospital.
After inaugurating the new Covid vaccination centre at Sanketkatte Shri Manjunatha Swamy Kalabhavan on Tuesday he urged the public to visit the new center and vaccinate themselves after getting confirmation of the availability of vaccines in a government hospital.
At the new Covid vaccination center 25 people got the Covishield vaccine.
Town Panchayat President Rajani Kudwa, Vice President Jayananda Gowda, Member Sharath Kumar Shetty, Melantabettu Village panchayat member Chandraraj, Tahsildar Mahesh J. Dr. Kalamadhu, Hospital Administrator Dr. Vidyavati, Town panchayat Chief Sudhakar MH, BJP leader Balakrishna Shetty Savanalu and Health Department Coordinator Ajay were present.
