Minister Kota inaugurates special mobile fever clinic KSRTC bus

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary inaugurated a special fever clinic KSRTC bus at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday, April 29.

This special bus will collect throat swabs from those who are suspected to have been infected by COVID-19.

The bus has been specially designed to enable medical checks and counselling. There are different cabins for the driver, doctor and members of the general public. Seating arrangements have also made in the bus while also keeping social distancing in mind. This special fever clinic will function with a doctor, nurse and a group D employee.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Dr Y Bharath Shetty and D Vedavyas Kamath, Mayor Divakar Pandeshwar, district in-charge secondary Ponnuraj, ZP President Meenakshi Shanthigodu, Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh, ADC Roopa M J and others were present during the inaugural.
