Mangaluru: The eligible beneficiaries under Natural Disaster Relief Scheme and National Family Benefit Scheme received cheques at a programme held at Taluk Panchayat Hall, Sullia here on Thursday July 8.
Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport Minister S. Angara after distributing cheques said that it is times of pandemic and that the public should be careful. He called on people to abide by the Covid guidelines and help the taluk become Covid-free zone. Vaccination drive has been planned in various gram panchayats, he added.
As many as 29 members under Natural Disaster Relief scheme, 35 under National Family Benefit Scheme and 3 members for funeral rites received the monetary aid.
