Udupi: A 53-year-old mediaperson was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Manipal on Tuesday, December 31.
The deceased has been identified as Rohith Raj of Manipal. It is said that Rohith started cable news channel “NMC” for the first time in Mangaluru. He was staying with his wife at Royal Embassy Flat, Manipal.
According to the sources, both Rohith and wife participated in new year celebrations at Ocean Pearl Hotel in Kadiyali on Tuesday late evening. Later, they came to their residence and reportedly had a quarrel.
After this argument, Rohith was found dead.
Manipal police registered a case and investigating.
