Mangaluru: The 50th issue of the online series of lectures, Genada Parel Bangaarda Kural will be held in joint auspices of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Tulupeetha and Tulu Postgraduate Studies Centre of Evening College, Mangaluru University on Saturday May 15 between 5 pm and 6 pm on Google meet link

Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, will be the chief guest of the event. P Subrahmanya Yadapadittaya will preside over the function. The lecture will be delivered by Jayaprakash Shetty, editor, Current Affairs, Suvarna News.
Actor and presenter Keerthi Kumar (Kirik Keerthi) wil be the special invitee. University Vice Chancellor Dr. Kishore Kumar C. K., and Principal of Evening College Subhashini Shreevatsa will be present.
When taking up physical classes were made impossible due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the programme began every weekend wherein online experts based on Tulu language and culture issues conducted lectures.
In 49 episodes so far, including Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, national and international scholars as well as well known people from Tulunadu have participated. Tulupeetha and Tulu Postgraduate Studies Coordinator Dr Madhav M stated that the 25th event of the webinar has been conducted and a souvenir on this feat has been on the anvil in a press release.
