Mangaluru: Mangaluru based drones firm Quad Perspective, along with two other drone image mapping firms, InDrone Aero Systems from Hubballi and Drone Aerpospace from Bengaluru, have been called in to assist in the search and rescue operations in Kodagu.
The Quad Perspective team headed by Kevin Stewart and Anuj Mascarenhas is already in Kodagu. They will assist the district and Army rescue teams with the search and rescue operations and the assessment of damages to the eco system and human habitation. They also plan to use specialized drones with emergency drop kits and loudspeakers based on need.
