Mangalore: Theft in studio, electronic goods worth Rs one lakh stolen

Mangalore: Thieves who broke into the Adarsh Studio, opposite the Ideal Cream Parlour at Hampankatta in Mangalore on April 9, Tuesday night have decamped with several electronic goods including cameras. The value of the stolen goods has been estimated at around Rs one lakh.

The studio is owned by one Harshakar. He  said  the thieves made way into the shop by breaking the false ceiling after climbing the roof from a nearby shop which was under repair.
The stolen goods include an LCD monitor, CPU, Nikon cameras.  Nikon lens and Canon scanner.

The studio owner is also learnt to have lost all the photographs which he had stored in his computer.

Bunder police have visited the spot. Investigations are underway.
