LPG tanker tragedy: Injured woman succumbs ; death toll rises to 9

Uppinangady :  The number of deaths in the LPG tanker tragedy that took place at Perne near Uppinangady recently has risen to nine.

On April 12, Friday, Vimala, an Anganavadi teacher who was under treatment at a private hospital in Mangalore for severe burn injuries, breathed her last.

Others who died in the mishap which took place when the tanker was negotiating a curve are  Shobha, Chaitresh, Vanitha, Sunil, Khatijamma, tanker driver Selvarasu and Omni driver Vasantha.
