Locals carry girl for 7km after she breaks leg trekking Kumara Parvatha hills

Subramanya: A girl from Bengaluru has sustained severe leg injuries when she slipped and fell from the Kumara Parvatha Hills. The victim is said to have been trekking the hills, along with a group of 23 other tourists.

The trekking group is said to have arrived at the hills from Bengaluru on Monday, October 14.

According to reports, the victim has broken both her legs after the fall.

When forest officials were alerted about the incident, they immediately informed a few local youths who rushed to the spot and carried the girl on a stretcher for seven kilometers.

The youths who rescued the girl were heaped with praise from the general public.
