Mangaluru: A child is truly the biggest blessing of God and parents do not wish for anything more than good health for their children.
When little Prithviraj was born, his parents, Chethan Suvarna and Pooja Suvarna only wished that he is healthy all his life.
However, they are now shattered as their little bundle of joy, who is all of seven is battling a rare condition that affects one in 1000.
Diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare condition pertaining to the nervous system of the body, Prithviraj is now undergoing treatment at Father Mullers Hospital in Kankanady.
Chethan Suvarna, from Someshwara, Uchil, works as a mechanic in Bengaluru. He is not in a position to meet the hospital expenses and the lockdown has only made things worse for him like most others.
Having burnt out all the savings that he has, the Suvarna family is now looking for help, so that the treatment could continue and their child could come out victorious.
As per a message from the family members, the hospital has given a quote of Rs seven lakhs and the family needs help from the generous donors in the society to lend them a helping hand in their testing time.
