Kudla Sooper Santhe opens with a bang!

Mangaluru: The Kudla Sooper Santhe, presented by My Road Runner in association with event planners Sanchia The Planner and Letz Party and media partner Newskarnataka.com, kicked-off with a great start on May 18 at the Tannirbhavi Beach. The beach festival will continue today and bring to Mangaluru some more fun in the sun.

The stage programme was inaugurated by 94-year-old Dr Jessie Tellis, former director of Indian Social Institute, New Delhi and founder and former co-ordinator of Women’s Institute for New Awakening (WINA), India, who released balloons from her wheelchair along with the other dignitaries. Car Decor proprietor and Tulu film producer Mukesh Hegde was the chief guest on the occasion.

After the inaugural, the audience was treated to a slew of musical performances, spot games and various other goodies.

There was a performance by blind artistes from the Sri Sharada Andhara Geethagayana Kala Sangha, a live-in-concert by Rhapsody and beat-boxing by Melric and Akshay.

The logo of the second edition of Mrs Mangalore was also unveiled on the occasion. The logo was revealed by the finalists of the pageant’s first edition.

During the show, the trailer of the soon to be released Konkani film “Nirmille Nirmone” was released by producer Henry D’Silva, director Robert and lead actress Hera Pinto.

Then, renowned dancer Nicky Pinto entertained and captivated the audience with his brilliant moves.

Soujanya Hegde compeered the event.

Letz Party’s Sachin, event planner Sanchia, Spearhead Media Pvt. Ltd (parent company of NewsKarnataka) CEO Brian Fernandes, My Road Runner CEO Prince Pinto and COO Michelle Pinto were also present.
