Bantwal: Sri Krishna Sharma from Alike Sathyasai PU College has bagged 99 percent with a real score of 596 marks in the commerce stream, thereby emerging as the first rank holder in the state.
Son of Krishna Bhat and Sharada couple from Perdala of Badiyadka, he completed his SSLC from Badiyadka Sri Bharathi Vidyapeet.
Krishna Sharma scored 96 in English, 100 in Sanskrit, 100 in business studies, 100 in accountancy and 100 in basic maths.
Speaking to newskarnataka.com, an elated Krishna Sharma said his hardwork had paid off.
“Daily revision of the day’s lessons have helped me in a big way. It proved out to be beneficial during the exams, reducing the burden,” he said, thanking his family and his teachers for supporting him.
Krishna Sharma aspires to become a Chartered Accountant. His proud family celebrated his great feat by cutting a cake.
