Mangaluru: RSS Supremo Kalladka Dr Prabhakar Bhat and MLA and former minister U T Khader grabbed the attention of many by sitting together at “Prakashabhinandana” programme organised to mark the 60th birthday celebration of business tycoon Prakash Shetty, at the Gold Finch city, at Bangara Kuloor, on Thursday, December 25.
It is a known fact that the two have often been at loggerheads owing to their political ideologies and beliefs.
Many a times in the past, Khader had pressed for arrest of Dr Bhat, when the latter made provocative statements. Bhat had also opposed the move of Khader participating and receiving “prasadam” from religious shrines and ” Bhoota Kola” claiming that he consumes beef and hence must refrain from being a part of such religious events.
However, both seen sitting together and speaking to each other for nearly 15 minutes. Many clicked the images on their mobile phones too.
Shetty’s 60th birthday celebration has succeeded in bringing together two people, who have different ideologies at least for a while.
