Karnataka SSF on the eve of silver jubilee celebration

Mangalore: The Sunni Students Federation will celebrate the silver jubilee of its institution in the state from 2014 January and the announcement of the same will be done in 25 centers across the globe, said the chief secretary of SSF Karnataka, KM Aboobakar Siddhique.

He was addressing the press meet held in the press club of Mangalore.

He said “the The Sunni Students Federation was started in Kerala 40 years ago and in Karnataka it is celebrating 25 years next year and various programs have been organized as a part of the celebrations. The official announcement of the same will be made at 19 various venues of Karnataka and 6 venues in the gulf countries and in all venues, the federation flags brought after performing Ziyarat in Mekka and Madina will be hoisted.”

The State Health Minister, Shri. UT Khader will inaugurate the state committee celebrations in Bangalore and State Minister for Forests and Environment Shri. Ramanatha Rai will inaugurate the district committee celebrations in Puttur.

The celebrations will commence in the first week of January with mass marriage of 25 Muslim couple with the view to promote dowry free marriages and will end its celebrations in the month of December 2014 after organizing 25  noble programs”
SSF state vice-president KH Isamail Sa-Adi, Secretary of the silver jubilee committee MB Mohhemmed Sadikh, another secretary Haji Abdrrehman, state committee member KA Basheer Madani were present at the occasion.
