Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath held a discussion with the residents of Kulshekar area with regard to the road development work at Alape-Kannagudde.

Addressing the media, Kamath said that the road development work which will begin from Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway, passing through Kannagudde, leading towards Mangaluru-Shivamogga will be done at a cost of Rs 5 crores.

The road, which connects Kannur-Kulshekar is about 5 km long and if this road is widened to a certain extent, the people residing in this area will benefit. Our party workers and representatives have given information to me stating that the people here find it difficult to move around, due to narrow roads. Once broadened, the problem will be solved. If people, as per our request cooperate, the process will be initiated soon, he said.

Corporator Roopa Poojary, BJP leaders Vasanth J Poojary, Gayatri, Praveen Kannagudde, Suresh Achari and others were present.
