Mangalore : Kannada movie Chella Pilli produced under the banner Shinecity Productions is all set to be released on July 5, Friday. The film would be screened at Cinepolis and Jyothi Theatre in Mangalore and Kalpana Theatre in Udupi.
This was informed to reporters here by Saikrishna, the film director at a press meet held at Cinepolis at City Centre Mall on July 2, Tuesday. Well known actors of Kannada and Tulu film industry namely Vijay Raghavendra, Aishwarya Nag, Naveen D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Santosh Shetty and Shivamanju are in the star cast of the film, he said Another added attraction of the film is former CM DV Sadananda Gowda who is also playing the role of an ex-chief minister in the film.
Saikrishna informed that the story of the film is about three friends and the way in which they get entangled in problems in their bid to help others.
The film has four songs directed by Mikku Kavil. Saikrishna informed that the songs are sung by Jessy Gift, Karthik, Malathi, Shamitha Malnad, Nakul Abhyankar and Anuradha Bhat.
Keerthan Shetty of Cinepolis, actors Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojraj Vamanjoor and producer Sukesh Bhandary were present at the press meet.
