Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat’s driver accused of molesting woman, case filed

Bantwal: A complaint has been lodged against four persons at the Bantwal Police Station on June 14 for alleged attempt to molest and murder a woman.

One of the accused is Yathiraj, the driver of RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. The complaint also mentions Chetan, Amith and Rajesh as the accused.

As per the FIR, a group led by Yathiraj armed with sticks, sickle and swords barged into the house of the victim on June 11. They assaulted the woman and demanded to know the whereabouts of her children Kiran and Keerthan. They also threatened to kill her sons as well as the woman, the complaint said.

The woman who had sustained serious injuries was admitted at the government hospital in Mangaluru, the police sources said.

S P Ravikante Gowda claimed that an old feud between Kiran and Keerthan, and the accused was the cause of the incident.
