Inland Windsors, Mangalore’s tallest residential tower Inaugurated

Mangalore: ‘Inland Windsors’, a  26-floor residential skyscraper, the city’s tallest, was  inaugurated on Monday May 26.

As it was inaugurated, at a well attended ceremony, it stood alone, in majestic splendor, statuesque and pleasing to the eye, rising up into the clouds. With 226 flats on its 26 floors, it is a dwellers delight –  well designed, well ventilated and luxurious. It was envisioned, crafted, and constructed by Siraj Ahmed the MD of Inland group and his dedicated team.

Siraj Ahmed, chairman and MD, In-Land Group, welcomed the guests who had gathered for the inaugural at the building’s location, Padavinangady, Airport Road. The premises was first  blessed by Hindu, Christian, and Muslim religious heads before it was inaugurated by the Hon’ble minister for infrastructure, information, and Haj, Govt. of Karnataka, Roshan Baig, who cut a ribbon and lit the traditional deepa to declare the building open for residential purposes. The inauguration was held in the presence of District-in-charge minister Ramanath Rai, who was the chief guest, and  P Jayaram Bhat, Karnataka Bank MD and CEO, who presided over the function.

Roshan Baig, after inaugurating the residential tower, was effusive in his praise for Siraj Ahmed and his team for  envisioning and delivering such an outstanding landmark to the city. He said that it was a proud moment for the city as Inland builders and developers are spearheading the city towards planned development.

The Minister for health, Govt. of Karnataka,  U T Khader, Mangalore Corporation Mayor,  Mahabala Maarla, Member of the legislative Assembly Mohiuddin Bava, Former Minister in the State Government, Krishna Palemar, Yenepoya University chancellor Y Abdulla Kunhi, SCDCC Bank president Rajendra Kumar, and CREDAI president Pushparaj Jain were guests of honour.

Ramanath Rai too,  addressed the guests.  He said that the magnificent structure is so well designed that it is the crowning glory of the area and the city.  He added that it is more than an apartment complex; it is a township, a small village, where 250 families will reside together. He praised it as a very prestigious development in Mangalore.

Rendering his best wishes, U. T Khader said that  dreams come true only when you strive hard to achieve them.  A true dreamer is not one who only dreams, but one who dreams and does.  Siraj is a true dreamer as he has worked hard to achieve his extraordinary dreams.

Six people who had strived hard and contributed to this magnificent structure that has added to the architectural grandeur of Mangalore, were also felicitated on the occasion – Sagar Mistry, MFar Constructions, Suresh Pai, Anil Hegde, Sunil, and Vinyas Shetty.

Meraj Yusuf, director, In-Land Group, proposed the vote of thanks. Wahaj Yusuf, director, was also present on the occasion.
