Moodbidri: The foundation stone laying ceremony of ICare City Mall was held in Vijayagiri near here, on Saturday, October 13 at 4 PM.
ICARE Builders and Developers Managing Directors Ashwin J Periera and Mellisa D’Souza are the promoters of this project and John Pinto from Mumbai and Abdul Razak from Dubai are the co-promoters.
After Moodbidri Parish Priest Fr. Paul Sequeira blessed the land, the foundation stone was laid by Ashwin Periera and his parents, Vincent and Theresa.
Brochures of ICare City Mall were also released on the occasion. This honour was given to Chairman of Alva’s Educational Institution Mohan Alva and Janata Dal (S) leader Amarnath Shetty.
Addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone, Managing Partner of ICARE Builders and Developers Ashwin Periera said, “ICARE City Mall is the first-of-its-kind full-fledged mall in Moodbidri. The people of Moodbidri will find this Mall to be very useful and will no longer have to travel all the way to Mangaluru for their shopping needs. This project is expected to be completed within three years.”
The booking office was also launched during the occasion. Leading business firm Akshaya Enterprises, who had pre-booked shops at the mall, were felicitated during the programme.
