Mangaluru: Human Right activist Haneef Saheeb Pajapalla on June 13, informed that the State Waqf Board had issued notice to seven persons for the illegal construction of a building on Waqf property in the Bunder area here.

Addressing a press meet in a private hotel here, Haneef said, “The property of Kutchi Meman Masjid belongs to Wakf Board. Nayeem Patel presently serving as Muthawalli of the masjid should discharge the duties as per the provision of the Wakf Act and protect the properties of Wakf.
