Housewife goes missing, returns with new husband

Bantwal :  It seemed like a scene straight from reel life, but was a real life story. A young housewife from  Halasinakatte in Vittal mudnur gram panchayat who was reported missing along with her daughter since July 16, turned up at the police station with her daughter and another man whom she claimed she had married at Dharmasthala.

Nalini(23), wife  of Rajesh  who had  been to attend a function on July 16 along with  her daughter had not returned home following which Rajesh had lodged a complaint at Vittal police station.

On July 18, Thursday Nalini who appeared at the police station with her daughter and new husband Jagadish (27) told the police that she had remarried in the best interests  of her daughter as her first husband Rajesh had turned up to be an alcoholic.

 The talks between the two families at the police station till evening failed as both Nalini and Jagadish were firm on their stand and Jagadish even  promising to take good care of Nalini.

It is learnt, Jagadish used to frequently visit Nalinis house when the latter fell in love with the him.
