Kundapur : In a tragic incident reported from Tekkatte here on May 12, Sunday night, a person from Udupi was killed when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
It is learnt, the vehicle sped from the scene of the accident as soon as the man fell on the ground. He has been identified as Kushal Shetty (45) from Kiradi near Mandarthi. Sources revealed that his house warming ceremony was scheduled to be held on May 13, Monday. He is survived by his wife and two children.
The mishap took place when Kushal who had been to the Gracy Auditorium to attend a reception came out of the auditorium to meet a friend.
Kaup police have registered a case.
