Final rites of Yashwanth Poojary, who died in Abu Dhabi performed at native village

dead M 2162020Mangaluru: The final rites of Yashwanth Poojary, who died in Abu Dhabi was held at Badakabail burial ground on Sunday, June 21.

Only his family members, close friends and those who helped the family to bring back the dead body from Abu Dhabi attended the final rites.

Yashwanth Poojary, son of Late Narayana Poojary and Lalitha, a resident of Punikodi in Addur, had been to Abu Dhabi three-years-ago after getting employed there.

He died on June 5 owing to cardiac arrest in Abu Dhabi.

A lot of confusions cropped up following Poojary’s death and even his family members had no clarity on the issue. After battling several hurdles, the family was finally able to get the dead body back with the help of an entrepreneur Hidayath Addur.

The dead body arrived to Kallikote on Saturday night and it was brought to his house in Addur in an ambulance on Sunday morning.
