Mangaluru: The scheduled examinations under Mangalore University have been postponed until further notice due to likely increase in Corona cases due to such activities in the district.
Deputy Commissioner has asked the colleges to defer classes too until further instructions. The order by the DC has been passed as per instructions of the State Government.
Speaking to News Karnataka, Registrar of Mangalore University, Dr P. L. Dharma said that all the examinations which were to be conducted in the university affiliated colleges from Tuesday August 3 onwards have been cancelled as per the instructions. “The valuation has also been postponed,” he added.
This is in the wake of influx of students from border areas of Kerala studying in Mangaluru and also other travellers from Kerala that might risk the spread of in the district.
