Mangaluru: Artistes lives have been hard due to lockdown. The drama artistes of the district are even hit harder. They have been selfless entertainers and therefore it is our duty to get them and their family vaccinated, said Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath.
He was speaking at a free vaccination drive held by District Administration in association with Tulu Naataka Kalavidara Okkoota (R), Mangaluru at Gokul Sabhangana, Kadri here on Wednesday June 23. To mitigate artistes’ problems, this free vaccination drive has been undertaken, he said. He called on the artistes to make good use of such free vaccination drives.
In all, 150 artistes were vaccinated at the programme.
