DK BJP celebrates Nalin Kumar Kateel’s LS poll victory

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a victory procession in the city on Saturday, June 1, to mark Nalin Kumar Kateel’s victory with a huge margin in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

The procession was taken out near from Clock Tower in Hampankatta in which thousands of BJP workers participated. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel was seen in an open jeep, waving his hands at the people throughout the procession. Before the conclusion of the procession at the district BJP office near PVS Circle, the procession went through GHS Road, Temple Square, Car Street, Alake, Durga Mahal, Ballalbagh, MG Road and PVS Circle.

The party works and supporters shouted pro-Narendra Modi slogans throughout the procession. A teenage boy dressed like Modi was the centre of attraction in the procession. As thousands of people had gathered in the procession, traffic was disrupted in the city.
