Deepak Rao’s murder: Police nab two more accused

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Police have successfully nabbed two more persons in connection with the Deepak Rao murder case on January 14, taking the total tally to six persons.

The arrested were identified as Abdul Aziz (42) and Abdul Azim (34), both residents of Katipalla, Surathkal.

It may be recalled that 32-year old youth Deepak Rao, a right-wing activist was brutally hacked to death by assailants who arrived in a car here at Samshuddin Circle in Katipalla on January 3.

Deepak was working in a mobile shop owned by Majeed.

Already the police had arrested Pinky Nawaz, Rizwan, Naushad and Mohamed Irshan in the case.
