Mangaluru: Mangaluru city law and order department Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Hanumantharaya has been transferred.
His new posting will be as the superintendent of police (SP) in the Yadagir district. The post of Yadagir SP was previously held by Ida Martin Marbaniang, who has been transferred as new DCP, traffic west, Bengaluru.
The order for Hanumantharaya’s transfer was issued on Saturday, September 15, by Robin Vanaraj, secretary in the department of personnel and administrative reforms. Twenty IPS officers have been issued transfer orders by the government.
