Mangaluru: Deputy Commissioner Rajendra KV has permitted the registrar of Mangalore University to conduct the remaining undergraduate and post-graduate examinations of the academic year 2020-21 from August 11.
Addressing the meeting here on Thursday August 5, he said, “Cases of Covid-19 infection in neighboring Kerala have intensified, state-run and private buses have been suspended, unnecessary traffic has been canceled. As it will be difficult for the students from Kerala to attend the exams, we have decided to conduct the exams from August 11.
“Students can attend the exam only at their convenience. Exams should be conducted separately for the students who were unable to attend, as well as for the students infected with Covid 19,” he added.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Prajya Ammambal, registrar of evaluation prof. P.L. Dharma and other officials were present at the meeting.
