He was speaking at a meet with doctors during his visit to the Wenlock district hospital on Saturday April 17 to review the provision of additional beds for treatment.

“Covid cases are on the rise in recent times and there should be no shortage of doctors and nurses in the hospital to treat them,” he said.

The district authorities were instructed to treat the people with common symptoms at the ESI hospital in the city.

He said that the hospital should ensure that beds, ICUs, ventilators and medicines reserved for the covid cases should be organised and structured.
