Mangaluru: A total of 14 persons were tested positive for Covid-19 today, May 31.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases reached to 133 in Dakshina Kannada district. Among the 14 persons who were tested positive for Covid-19 today, nine are Maharashtra returnees, one each from Malaysia and Dubai. Three persons are infected by the Mumbai returnees.
It can be noted that, yesterday 14 persons were tested positive for Covid-19, among them 13 were Mumbai returnees and one hailed from Someshwar village.
Among the total of 133 Covid cases in Dakshina Kannada district, seven persons have died and 44 persons have been discharged from the hospital on recovery.
