Mangaluru: As many as 12 persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the Dakshina Kannada district on Monday, June 22.
With this, the total number of cases in the district has jumped to 445. Of the 12 persons, six had recently returned from Kuwait, two from Qatar, and one each from Muscat (Oman), Sharjah, and Saudi Arabia.
One patient has been diagnosed with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). All have been moves to the Covid Wenlock Hospital for treatment.
