Ullal: A couple was found hanging from the ceiling fan here on Tuesday, February 19.
The deceased are identified as Devaraj (70) and Jayanthi (58).
They were basically from Manjeshwar, who had settled in Kotekar Biri from the past 20 years.
Devaraj was a driver in the Akashvani Mangaluru division.
Ullal police have recovered a death note from the spot.
In the death note the couple had written that they do not have children due to which they will be transferring their savings and property to Vasanthi’s niece Shwetha. They have also requested Shwetha to look after their pet dog.
Their pet dog is grief-stricken and gone mum on its master’s death.
ACP Rama Rao, Inspector Gopi Krishna, and Sub Inspector Vinayak Torgal had rushed to the spot and have registered a case.
