Mangaluru: A couple, hailing from the Kasargod district, aged around 22 years, attempted suicide by consuming poison at Kadri Park, on Monday, November 26.
According to the police sources, both came to Kadri Park on Monday evening and after a while, the park-goers were shocked to hear someone screaming in pain. When they rushed for help, they discovered that the couple had attempted suicide.
The two were rushed to a hospital nearby and are now said to be critical. The reason for their extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
