Mangaluru: The suicide case of Ankith Rane seems to have taken an unexpected turn as his parents have implicated his colleagues in the case.

Ankith Rane (28), son of police sub-inspector Padmayya Rane, was found hanging inside the store room of a chartered accountant’s office here in Balmatta where he was employed as an assistant accountant for the last five years.

Ankith’s family has reportedly told police that his colleagues had a role to play in his suicide. They reportedly alleged that an argument had broken out in the office a couple of months before his death and Ankith had complained to the supervisor about the matter. They also claimed that after this, Ankith began to receive death threats over the phone and this pushed him to commit suicide.
