Coast Guard Kindergarten School, Kunjathbail, organised the Annual Function amid great enthusiasm, vibrancy and elation within the scenic location of Coast Guard Residential Area, Kunjathbail on 14th March, 2019 The function began in a traditional way by invoking Goddess of Knowledge Saraswathi, with the theme ‘Utsav’. Through dance performances and songs, the tiny-tots displayed their diverse talents. Principal Smt Saritha Manohar presented CG KG School annual report during the function and shared all the achievements of the school for the academic year 2018-19. Through different performances, students shared a message of spark of flame of love & knowledge.
DIG SS Dasila, TM Commander Coast Guard Karnataka who was the Chief Guest while speaking on the occasion emphasized that children of course are the focal point of our life. Dasila further added and said that if there is anything that one can give their children it is their TIME. No amount of physical compensations can replace one’s position or give that happiness, that is merely by the parents’ presence by the child’s side.” Your children need your presence more than your presents”, He said.
Coast Guard KG School has been grooming the kindergarten kids since its activation year of 2001. The school registered as per the Karnataka Education Act, 1983 and functions under the aegis of Commander Coast Guard Karnataka. It was initially opened for the benefit of CG personnel staying in and around Kunjathbail area; however, with time, Coast Guard has extended school facilities to locals. Presently more than 70% students are from non-Coast Guard families residing in the and around neighbourhood of Kunjathbail.
