Mangaluru: State BJP president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said on Saturday, May 30, that B S Yediyurappa will complete his full term as the Chief Minister of Karnataka and there was no misunderstanding between the BJP leaders.
Addressing the reporters here on Saturday, Nalin said, “Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar has been dreaming of uprooting the BJP government and speculates that there is a misunderstanding between the leaders. However, there is no confusion or misunderstanding between the BJP leaders as of now. Everyone is in agreement about Yediyurappa’s leadership.”
Pointing out to the meetings of some BJP leaders, Nalin said, “MLAs might have convened meetings in order to discuss welfare programmes in their constituencies. One should not speculate about the stability of the government over such meetings. BSY will complete his tenure.”
Meanwhile, Nalin informed that the party has its own discipline and guidelines for members. “If anybody violates such discipline and guidelines, action will be taken against them after receiving directions from the party’s High Command, ” he cautioned.
